
Hong Kong Fashion Week is Asia's largest fashion event. The four-day event, which starts July 4 and ends on July 7, brings together the international fashion industry. His most famous projects include "The Grandmaster," a film he co-produced alongside Wong Kar–wai. He also designed the central piece for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibit "Modern Fashion: An Global History".
The Love of Couture - Artisanship is a celebration of fashion's artisanship, which spans more 200 years of history. It is a tribute the impact fashion has on the world. This exhibit, which features iconic pieces from the V&A Collection, will examine the evolution of fashion from Victorian era to present.
To help the designers, the V&A has also provided the participating designers with a series of historical fashions from the collection. These will serve as inspiration for the six new designers. They will also draw on the history and culture of their respective cultures to create custom pieces.
